Dad's bday/jb indulgence

Went to a Korean restaurant at Tras street for papa's bday dinner...

Didn't take much photos cos was very hungry. I love the soup though.

It tasted extra delicious whenever having meals with family...

Next day, we went to Nandos from pelangi square. Far from expectations...

The chicken soup came first

Obviously we were very hungry

Then we were anticipating the main courses. I had decided to take big risk by ordering

He couldn't take spicy but ordered mild hot nonetheless.

Look at my charbroiled veg and Mediterranean rice, honestly wasn't fantastic at all.

The cucumber tasted funny, carrot was raw. Rice was ok.

Most unacceptable thing is mine wasn't hot & spicy as it claimed!! 

I even ordered the extra spicy just to see how far can i go.








Someone who can't take spicy put a piece into his mouth and tell me it's not hot! How lousy is that?~ I seriously wonder what is their standard of spiciness? Probably Nandos have to revise their menu and bring on something more to the taste bud. And that totally defeated the purpose of ordering free-flow iced lemon tea!

Last weekend the traffic to JB was miraculously smooth. It takes about only an hour to reach there. It's consider lightning speed for a Saturday in case you don't know.

Someone's car broke down at custom and the officers were helping to push. How often do we get to see that? =p

To satisfy my craving for Japanese food, we went for Sushi King at city square!

We started off with sushi on conveyor belt.

It's all freshly prepared!

Soft shell crab. Unlike Sakae or Sushitei, it doesn't have thick batter coating. Thin, crisp & juicy.

Saba Shiokyaki! Tender meat with bit of chao tar fragrance.

 Miso Yakitori. Either you love or hate it.

Zaru Soba. Not bad actually but I can't finish... Hmm, have I lost interest in something which I used to craze over?

 What are the big eyes for?

 Even their ginger container has their logo imprinted. Talk about branding!

 Savoring his hot green tea after iced cold lemon tea?!!

Tadang! Tat's all at Sushi King folks!

Oh before we left, took a picture of this gigantic standing poster. It says finish this bowl of ramen(5 times normal size) in 10 mins and it's free! We unanimously think that thomas should join! Wakakaka~~

Then we went for Baskin Robbin, have not been eating it the last few times we came in. Because it runs out of small cones, I decided to share a waffle bowl with him. Each choose a flavor, me strawberry cheesecake, him rainbow sherbet, then a generous pump of hot choco fudge. What is this combi?? Well, it doesn't look appealing here neither does it tasted very yummy over there too. =X

Overall was alright lah, edible but not advisable...

Trying to act as if did not see this bowl of thing in front of him so that no need to eat right? =p

In the end also eat until mouthful of choco..^_^ 

One after another...

We managed to finish it nonetheless... =)

Chocolate makes one smile sweeter, do you think so?
