Hi my deeeeeeeear blog! I missssssses you sooooo much...
I had not update my blog like more than a month! The past few months had been mad & sad/happy to know that this madness will carry on till at least end of nov. Since the last update 13th sep, I went to eason's concert 18/09, my mum's bday 17/09, regular JB visits, thailand trip 30/09 to 03/10, bbq for october babies 16/10 including me & HC and more to come! New retail outlet opening on 23/10 (hopefully i no need to go), adrian's baby kiefer shower on 23/10, finding a day to visit alicia & her girl alectra, qingfeng's baby trevis 1yr old bday 29/10, Taiwan trip with sweet family 02/11 to 08/11, ivan's wedding 06/11 (well, cmi due to taiwan trip, sorry! =p), Malacca trip with friends 27/11. Looking at the numbers drives me crazy! And these equals to burning a big big big hole in my pocket! Plus road tax insurance due on 22/11, argh!! Dunno whether i will have enough to survive thru but one thing for sure, after all of these, i am going to stay put at home for quite some time, cannot spend anymore $$ le...
I am not updating for the sake of it but just like to post some pics that has long overdue inside my phone. Will update my thailand trip on next post because stupid me forgot to bring back my thumb drive despite reminding myself before leaving office. duhz! O(=_=)O

I shall start with my JB trips.
We went to chicken rice shop at jusco, the deserted crowd speaks for the taste of the food. Whatever!

I ordered assam fish set consists of bean sprout, assam fish, chicken rice de rice and additional fish ball soup.
Bean sprout was okay only...
He ordered honey chicken noodle i think...
My assam fish sucks...
Fish ball soup sucks...
But we were too hungry to be choosy.
Spring roll was the only food that we think is 'best of all(lousy food)'
Don't think we ever patronise this chicken rice shop again.
Another time, we happily drove our way to taman sentosa for some regular dosage of ze char during the hot & sunny afternoon!

Then on the 17/09, me & family went to bedok blk 80+ to enjoy thai food at the same time celebrate mummy's bday. Dom's father was there too...

On the 18th Sep, we went to watch Eason Duo concert 2010. Personally, i felt he hasn't bring the best performance over to sg. But nonetheless, he is still one great singer that current music industry is lacking. Eason 加油吧!

We went Manhattan Fish market at northpoint for the first time! A bit disappointed because they trying so hard to replicate fish & co's concept yet taste is nowhere near. The low price range is probably the only attractive factor.
Mushroom soup
Deep fried white fish, oily and oily...
Buttered prawns with garlic sauce creme. The prawn were a bit on the hard side but sauce wasn't too creamy.
Comes with toasted baguette for dipping into the sauce.
Named Manhattan Fish Market, therefore i must order the fish N chips right? =p
It was as oily, battered was thick but fish was very fresh as i can remember.
Though it doesn't taste fantastic but sometimes it's not only the food that we enjoy, it's the company as well... =D
Oh one thing worth mentioning, i think the pans are really cute! Engraved with their trademark...
Recently, the bubble tea frenzy is back!
Have been hearing a lot on this bb tea shop named KOI makes me willing to queue for almost 30 mins just to see really how good it is...
The crowd is really madness. I think this was considered mild, compared to what i saw on twitter and FB saying how long the queue can get. The most systematic bb tea shop i've seen, with electronic number board so as not to confuse the crowd and disallow people to cut queue. Talk about professional!
Downside, really expensive can! The tea wasn't worth the money i would say and the pearl was nothing special except it was smaller than the usual and a generous scoop. But the price was way too high, i rather drink sweet talk.
One of the reason that contributes to the success was the excellent marketing stragedy
The shop concert, the friendly & professional looking staff, the wide range of tea offered on their menu & the packaging! Even the straw gets to wear a Koi coat...=)
